  1. Work opportunities during studies
    In most of the countries International students are normally allowed to work part time up to 20 hours per week & full time during vacations.


  2. Work opportunities after studies
    Work options after completion of studies depend upon each country’s policy & requirements. Students may take an overview from each country’s immigration department’s website as given below;

Australia
Under the new Australian laws student, who has completed at least two years study in a nominated skilled occupation in Australia, may be given an opportunity to remain in Australia for upto 18 months under visa subclass 485 to gain additional skills. UK
Graduates from recognized UK institutions may get permit free employment under International Graduates Scheme. For more information, please see the section ' Permit Free Employment (INF 14)' guidance. Graduates from Scottish institutions can get permit free extensions for 2 years under the Fresh Talent Scheme at www.ukvisas.gov.uk

New Zealand
If you are studying in New Zealand and you want to stay and work here after you have completed your studies, you may be eligible for an extension of one year under the Graduate Job Search visa and for a work visa/permit under the Study to Work Policy. Canada
